MEH is excited to announce the completion of the first electrical system at Hinkley Point C.
The MEH Alliance brings together EDF in partnership with a joint venture (JV) formed of four main UK industrial erection companies: Altrad Services, Cavendish Nuclear, Altrad Babcock, NG Bailey and Balfour Beatty, supported by a network of strategic suppliers. This unique alliance will deliver the erection sequence for UK’s first new nuclear power station in two decades. The MEH Alliance programme is accountable for full lifecycle delivery of the main MEH installation works at Hinkley Point C (HPC). The MEH Alliance is working across the Hinkley Point C site to integrate and coordinate the delivery of all main mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and associated support services on the project. The organisation’s model will help different contractors work as a single entity to deliver the complex installation of cabling and pipework in the power station’s 7,500 rooms.
